As the first quarter of 2024 draws to a close, Sensor Tower provides a peek into the performance of the leading Film & Television apps on the Android platform in Australia. Here's how the top contenders fared:

Paramount+ started the quarter with a revenue of about $121K, peaking at $136K in the second week of January before trending down to $109K by the end of March. Downloads saw a decline from 41K in the first week to 13K, while weekly active users decreased from 127K to 82K.

10 play exhibited an intriguing trend in downloads, with an initial 8K downloads in the first week of January, a spike to 33K in mid-March, and then settling at 30K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users showed a significant jump from 106K to 179K in the same period.

Disney's offering, Disney+, generated substantial revenue, opening with $632K and concluding the quarter at $476K. Downloads fluctuated gently around the 15K mark most weeks, with a notable rise to 17K in mid-March. Active users were highest at 639K in the first week but dipped to 562K by the quarter's conclusion.

Tubi: Free Movies & Live TV maintained its free-to-watch model with consistent download numbers starting at 14K and ending slightly higher at 15K. Weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 53K to 55K over the quarter.

Lastly, Amazon Prime Video showed modest revenue figures, hovering around $120 each week with slight variances. Downloads saw a peak of 18K in late January, while the weekly active users reached a high of 194K in the same month before settling at 152K.
